CYSA Logo Welcome to the home of the Jack London Youth Soccer Sports League where "We Honor the Game". JLYSSL serves the communities of Alameda, Grass Valley, Montclair, Oakland, Piedmont and Rockridge in Northern California.

JLYSSL Day with the San Jose Earthquakes

On August 3, 2008 come out and join Bay Oaks at the McAfee Coliseum as they coordinate ticket sales for JLYSSL so that we can have a terrific day at the game and root on our favorite players. Come see Beckham, Donovan, and all the rest of the stars as they battle it out right here in Oakland.

The Quakes have allotted us a big section of the stadium but why don't we see if we can fill it up with players, families, and friends from JLYSSL soccer clubs and make them find us more room in the stadium for our league.

Tickets are $30 (same price as at the gate) All service and handling fees are included. You can pay by PayPal (secure credit card) or you can mail in your order for tickets.

Game day we will gather for a pre-game tailgate party for all of Jack London Soccer.

Help the Friends of Oakland Parks

Raimondi Lighted Artificial Turf Field Project

Donate today to Raimondi Fields Artificial Turf and Sports Lights Renovation to help build a new, lighted, maintenance free artificial turf soccer field. Construction is to begin Sept. 2007 and additional funds are needed to light the second field. Donate online at <http://www.oaklandparks.org

Scroll down to the Raimondi Park area to make your donation and note sports lights for soccer fields. Or make a check payable to Friends of Oakland Parks and Recreation and send to P.O. Box 13267, Oakland, CA 94661. Please note Raimondi Park sports lights for soccer fields on the memo line of the check.

In addition to your own donations to the Raimondi lighted artificial turf project, we are hoping you will take the time to write a letter soliciting donations for a second set of lights for Raimondi Fields to your employer, a potential corporate donor, or an Oakland business that might want to improve youth sports and programs in Oakland.

Donations should be made to Friends of Oakland Parks and Recreation, the non-profit organization that has spearheaded this project. Oakland youth need more and better sports fields. This is our opportunity to show our kids that we care. Help Friends of Oakland Parks and Rec build this beautiful new facility now! Your own donation to Friends of Oakland Parks and Rec will go a long way to hasten Raimondi's completion. Please donate today. And please find a corporate and business donor, too.
