Special Rules at Wood Middle School, Alameda, CA
Wood Middle School Track field is a U9/U10 field located in the heart of Alameda. This field is immediately adjacent to Alameda Little League's baseball field. Given the close proximity of the two fields, it is possible from time-to-time that an errant foul ball can land on the track on the outer edge of the soccer field. As such ALL Teams and Spectators are required to situate themselves on the opposite far side of the field away from the baseball field. All JLYSSL teams playing in NorCal are advised that they should inform the visiting team of this special rule. Referees are also reminded to inform teams and spectators to set up on the opposite side of the field away from the baseball field.
