Special Rule at Wood Middle School, Alameda, CA
Wood Middle School Track field is a U9/U10 field located in the heart of Alameda. This field is immediately adjacent to Alameda Little League's baseball field. Given the close proximity of the two fields, it is possible from time-to-time that an errant foul ball can land on the track on the outer edge of the soccer field. As such ALL Teams and Spectators are required to situate themselves on the opposite far side of the field away from the baseball field. All JLYSSL teams playing in NorCal are advised that they should inform the visiting team of this special rule. Referees are also reminded to inform teams and spectators to set up on the opposite side of the field away from the baseball field.
Special Rules at Mills College, Oakland, CA
When entering the campus please DO NOT turn left onto Ming Quong Road which is just past the front gate to drop off or pick up players. Please turn RIGHT and wait in Richard's Lot. You can use the HAAS parking lot for pick ups and drop offs. Ask the security guard at the entrance gate for a site map showing parking lots and restroom facility locations. Teams are NOT ALLOWED to do warm ups/drills on the Julia Morgan front lawn. This is private property which is not part of the college. This is a valuable league resource and everyone needs to do their part to follow these simple rules. Home teams - please make sure that you communicate these rules to your opponents prior to your scheduled matches
